This plant was given by a friend. A F1 hybrid of slipper orchid. Very similar to Paph. spicerianum.

Den. convolutum

I think this is a "stylish" Dendrobium , used to be expensive but now it's cheap due to tissue culture. It's interesting for free flowering characters, so that it's possible to see the bloom all year around.

Pot. Hsinying Dream 'Violet Queen'

Huge bloom held by miniature plant, and the flower appearance looks like it's a standard-sized Cattleya. I bought it from local flower market.

Vanda coerulea

It seems the most beautiful blue orchid, but different clone has different blue color ... some even with clear net pattern. This species is a bit difficult to handle during hot summer here.

Blue form of Cattleya bowringiana , it blooms in autumn and the color seems the gentle breeze for cooling down the last days of the hot summer. Almost no fragrance but I can smell a little bit !?

2 of my Aerides odorata are in bloom. Color is different and the smell is different, too. I like this genera a lot as they are easy to take care and the blooms are charming.

Cattleya dowiana is one of the most beautiful species of Cattleya family. Cattleya dowiana is the only cattleya that produces flowers with a various hues of yellow. This cattleya has a pleasant fragrance.

Renantanda Lina Sea

It's a very good bloomer, first time I saw the flowers was when I bought it and after 3 months it blooms again. I love these small and compact monopodial orchids.

Den. Najib Rosmah

This is a diplomatic Dendrobium that I saw in National Orchid Garden of Singapore. The parentage information is Den. Ronald Imanuel x Den. Jeffrey Tan.

This orchid was named after His Excellency Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysua and Datin Sri Rosmah binti Mansor, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Malaysia on the ccasion of their visit to the National Orchid Garden on Friday, 22 May 2009.

Ascda. Suksamran Sunlight "Gold"

This lovely orchid blooms several times for me this year although I do not fertilize it. But it's better to spread the liquid fertilizer from time to time.

Vanda Mimi Palmer

A cross between Vanda Tan Chay Yan and Vanda tessellata, the flowers come with a sweet-smelling fragrance during day time.

Cattleya porphyroglossa

Cattleya porphyroglossa is a tall bifoliate species and native to swampy forests near Atlantic shore in Brazil. It prefers to grow on trees near the ground in close proximity to water. The slightly scented flowers occur in the spring.

Den. anosmum var. semi-alba

As this color form shows another view of Den. anosmum. Very cute and pretty but it still cost a lot. Fragrant blooms.

Cattleya nobilior

A very collectible Cattleya with many varieties, especially the color forms, the excellent clones usually cost a lot. Native to S.E. of Brazil, the Cattleya nobilior prefers a dry period to enable the bloom character. Easy to grow, watering is required when the growth begins.

Lc. Canhamiana "Azure Skies"

The parentage was Cattleya mossiae (blue form) x Laelia purpurata (blue form). This is a nice F1 that blooms in summer.

Renanthera imschootiana

Personally I love the genus Renanthera a lot because the showy red flowers. And when it's in full bloom, it's like a red cloud which is charming with no doubt. This is a new species "imschootiana" that I got in this year. The color is like it's on fire and the flowers are long-lasting.

Trichoglottis smithii

Trichoglottis smithii is a charming orchid species from Borneo and Sumatra. It should be grown under warm and bright light condition. My plant is mounted on a tree bark with bare root.

Den. bracteosum

This is an interesting species and I like its long lasting flowers which can keep fresh over months. The flower only occurs in older psuedobulbs without leaves. My plant is a young starter, so it only blooms from the oldest but short psuedobulbs.

Den. Stardust "Firebird"

A very beautiful Dendrobium hybrid with Den. unicum, the bright orange color is addictive. It blooms in spring. Maybe I need to mount it on tree/fern bark and hopefully to get more blooms in next spring.

Vanda limbata

It seems my Vanda limbata belongs to Philippines due to the bloom color is dark red instead of the clone inhabits in Indonesia which is brown. The flowers look like they are waxed and slightly fragrant.

Cattleya intermedia

Cattleya intermedia varies in flower shapes and colors, it's interesting in collecting different clones and see their blooms at the same time.

Paphiopedilum hangianum

The scented slipper orchid is rare, Paph. hangianum has pleasant fragrance that is attractive. It is very common in cultivation now. The growth of the plant is quite slow, it may take many years to develop the young plant into a blooming size.
