This miniature Cattleya is a Taiwanese hybrid according to the name. I grow this one for 2 years and it's an easy bloomer, the new shots always carry buds. The flower is long-lasting.

Cattleya walkeriana "Kenny"

Very common and cheap now despite its blood is questioned. :-) This is still a pretty miniature Cattleya. I like it a lot and the scent smells like sweet ginger candy which is hard to resist.

Cattleya dowiana is one of the most beautiful species of Cattleya family. Cattleya dowiana is the only cattleya that produces flowers with a various hues of yellow. This cattleya has a pleasant fragrance.

Cattleya porphyroglossa

Cattleya porphyroglossa is a tall bifoliate species and native to swampy forests near Atlantic shore in Brazil. It prefers to grow on trees near the ground in close proximity to water. The slightly scented flowers occur in the spring.

Cattleya nobilior

A very collectible Cattleya with many varieties, especially the color forms, the excellent clones usually cost a lot. Native to S.E. of Brazil, the Cattleya nobilior prefers a dry period to enable the bloom character. Easy to grow, watering is required when the growth begins.

The parentage was Cattleya mossiae (blue form) x Laelia purpurata (blue form). This is a nice F1 that blooms in summer.

Cattleya walkeriana var. semi-alba

A nice type of Cattleya walkeriana with clear-cut color contrast. As usual, it's very fragrance in every way.

Slc. Love Castle

The pretty Slc. Love Castle. The flower is quite bold with magenta-red standing on compact, space-saving plants. Its parents are Sl. Psyche and Lc. Jose Dias Castro.  It can bloom twice a year but better flower quality occurs in the winter of Taiwan.

Cattleya percivaliana

Cattleya percivaliana is a winter-blooming species of the Venezuelan Andes. I find it usually blooms in December in Taiwan. The flower shape is quite neat and the flower is scented with a mixed spicy fragrance which is a bit different from other Cattleya species.
