Bulbophyllum plumatum

A very old friend of mine, I even don't remember how many time it has bloomed as I'm familiar with this plant for a long time. :-)

Bulb. catenarium

A mini-miniature Bulbophyllum that was found in Gunung Alab on a lower tree trunk. Very cute and elegant. The flower is much bigger than the plant although it just get the dimension around 1cm width.

Bulb. gracillimum

My Bulb. gracillimum came from Thailand, it blooms regularly during every winter in Taiwan. It looks very delicate but it's a short life bloomer.

Bulbophyllum plumatum

So-called "red ribbon" Bulbophyllum , a miniature epiphytic orchid that is found in Malaysia and Philippines. As usual, the blooms last few days only, you must remember to check the bubs day by day to see if it blooms to avoid missing the flowers.

Bulb. blepharistes

Warm to hot grower, native in Indo-China peninsula. It blooms in the autumn, the flowers are very cute.

Bulb. sp (綠蟬)

This is a Bulb. sp. from Indonesia, the plant is similar to Bulb. arfakianum but the flower is different, maybe a variety or new species, not yet officially released.

Bulb. rothschildianum

Also known as "King of the Bulbophyllum" because of its polished luxury flowers. It is really an eye catcher. Just easy to grow and blooms in the early winter.

Bulb. Elizabeth Ann

Really attractive flower, this is a very successful F1 made with Bulb. longissimum and Bulb. rothschildianum. It's worth to grow one in your greenhouse for enjoying the handsome blooms.

Bulbophyllum carunculatum

A medium sized Bulb. , it is endemic to the Philippines, the inflorescence can carry scented flowers (not good smell) which blooms one after another, but the color is glory.

Bulb. lobbii

There are many clone types of Bulb. lobbii , this one should be the most colorful. Very pretty !

Bulb. hirundinis

This is a miniature and pretty Bulb. species that is found in Taiwan, Vietnam and Southern China. It is found at elevation 800-1100M in Taiwan.

 

Bulb. bicolor

This handsome Bulb. was grown over years and blooms routinely. Many Bulb's blooms are not pleasant, fortunately this species is not stinky. :-)

Bulb. taiwanense

An orchid species native to Taiwan, very cute and miniature Bulbophyllum. Blooms in spring.
