Amesiella philippinensis

This small plant has relatively large bloom with a spear. Grows as tiny epiphyte and blooms in spring. It's native in the central mountains of Luzon island, the Philippines.

Sophronitis cernua

S. cernua was first discovered in 1828 and is the type species for the genus Sophronitis, it is also the smallest of the genus. They are pretty for their red-orange blooms which are clustered at the end of short inflorescences. They are presented somewhat downwards giving the species the name "Nodding Sophronitis". It grows as epiphytes or lithophytes in Paraguay and Brazil.

Epi. difforme "White"

A very interesting night-fragrant orchid, the strong jasmine smell can spread on the air when the night comes. The little blooms last about a month, the payoff is quite worth if you grow one in your greenhouse. :-)

Paph. venustum

Paphiopedilum venustum blooms in the spring with single or two flowers. Found in Assam, Darjeeling, and Sikkim states of India, usually habitate in the jungle on mossy trees, muddy river banks, and cliffs at elevations about 300 ~ 1500 meters. The area is subjected to heavy rains during the summer and fall, high humidity in the spring and moderate amounts of rain in the winter. It is the first Paphiopedilum species identified by European explorers.
