Commonly known as "Helmet Orchid" in cultivation, yes this weird terrestrial orchid is really a artful plant that inspires folk's imagination.
I took this photo of Corybas pictus in a private garden in Sabah, I did not mean to find this because there were too many plants to see. It was a beautiful encounter with this tiny monster while it bloomed and sat down on a planting rack. Impressive !

A fantastic blue Vanda that catches people's eyes. This is my first blue Vanda with big flower. Vanda tolerates fertilizer during growing season, it seems such giant plant can't grow well without regular watering and fertilizing but it's worth to do that.
